Challenge
Echodyne has created a breakthrough radar platform that is relied on by defense, government, and commercial customers as the foundation for better situational awareness and safer outcomes.
It sought an agency partner who could craft a highly targeted media relations outreach campaign that could hit its key verticals – defense, aerospace, government and critical infrastructure.
Approach
Working closely with Echodyne’s team from day one, Wise Up PR timed the company’s news items, such as press releases, to go live in tandem with important industry events to maximize their impact with media. In addition, we verticalized pitches to ensure personalized, relevant news and content were pitched into Echodyne’s wide-ranging media targets.
Wise Up PR’s team also recommended focusing heavily on placing spokespeople on podcast interviews across all of Echodyne’s customer verticals. This approach was suggested as podcasts offer a friendly, long-form medium in which to discuss Echodyne’s background, its technology and sector-specific issues. It also enabled Echodyne to activate different spokespeople dependent on the vertical and level of technical expertise needed for each interview.
