David is Founder of Wise Up PR. He has over a decade of senior PR experience and has led campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the world, such as Google, as well as devising highly successful programs for more fast-growing companies. A media relations specialist, he has also driven award-winning PR campaigns across every major English language media market – from the US, UK and beyond.
He has extensive and varied sector experience having orchestrated campaigns across B2B technology, aerospace and defense, fintech, energy and numerous others. His former clients outside of Google included big brands like Avis, Fujitsu, Oracle, Pernod Ricard and Worldpay, as well as scale-ups like Freetrade, Otter.ai, ThousandEyes, Twilio and many more. He is also a former journalist, who specialized in sports business and technology issues at SportTechie (since acquired by Sports Business Journal).
David is hands-on in supporting clients with their PR programs and communications challenges day-to-day, as well as managing all aspects of Wise Up PR’s operations.
Taylor is Lead Media Strategist at Wise Up PR. She has over 5 years of PR experience, leading campaigns across everything from day-to-day proactive pitching, IPOs, funding rounds, rebrands, product launches and more. She’s supported clients based all around the globe, assisting on new market launches, executive media training, and ground-up influencer programs.
She’s worked with clients across the spectrum of B2B (with specialist knowledge in martech and adtech), Defense, Aerospace, and beyond, including publicly listed companies like Agora.io (NASDAQ: API) to fast-scaling companies like Hazelcast, Auth0, and CleverTap. On the B2C side, she’s supported Zoom+ Care, Brainium Studios, Pedigree and more. She has also sat on the other side of the table as a former member of the media. In California, she worked as a Staff Writer for the Capitol Morning Report, focused on happenings in and around state and local politics and writing human interest stories.
On the day-to-day at Wise Up PR, Taylor is focused on executing against the media relations priorities of our clients, across every day pitching efforts to longer-term strategy campaigns.
Ben is Head of Content at Wise Up PR. He has more than 20 years of senior content creation and strategy experience as a journalist, editor and specialist copywriter. In journalism, he was a writer and editor for a host of consumer technology publications in the UK, leading their digital editorial output.
Since shifting to PR, he has developed a broad sector knowledge and is equally adept at crafting compelling content for highly specialized B2B industries as he is for more consumer-focused ones. Ben’s ability to distill and communicate complex ideas and concepts into plain English has helped scores of challenger brands establish a credible media presence and position themselves as thought leaders. He’s elevated content for the likes of Wise (formerly TransferWise), what3words and other leading brands.
