Looking for PR to effectively promote your research?

A team of research PR specialists

PR offers a great route to promote your brand’s research and data findings. Yet it is also filled with pitfalls, especially in a world now awash with data points. Building interesting, credible and creative research-driven narratives and stories is not as simple as it seems.

Our team has extensive knowledge of where to start with research-driven PR, and how to manage the program effectively across many different channels, including media relations, content creation and social media.

Regardless of sector, we know research PR inside out

Our expertise in this area has also been carved out across many different and disparate sectors, from marketing and retail to fintech and B2B technology. We have crafted sector-specific research-driven PR, as well as data stories that reached a much bigger, mainstream audience.

We work with clients who commission their own data, or, by contrast, have a wealth of their own data. We have the skills to plug into whatever way you want to do research PR to reach the audience you want.

Results that can be measured, just like your data

When executed with journalistic methodology, research PR can open up a treasure trove of media and credibility-boosting opportunities, with reporters loving to bolster and add color to a story with data points. The results of our research-driven campaigns include significant brand uplift for our clients and our work being recognized as industry-leading on multiple occasions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Research-Driven Creative

This refers to using research (consumer or B2B) to create content that is distributed across PR channels. The creative aspect is found in finding topics and issues to hook this research to that will be of interest to target audiences and potential customers.

Typically the main channel of focus is on media relations but research-driven PR can, and should be, used across all channels. The content created from this activity is focused on the findings of the research and used within reports, eBooks, press releases, blogs and more. Such activity can be conducted on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis, with many brands building up credibility by providing ongoing research-driven content.

There are a number of benefits to using research-driven creative PR. This includes raising brand awareness through creative storytelling methods, reaching new audiences with highly topical and relevant research (including journalists and influencers) and becoming an established industry voice. In turn, this boosts website traffic and influences the actions of your target audiences.

We have extensive experience within this area. Our campaigns have been recognized for excellence with a host of industry awards also. This specialism is built from our team’s background in journalism and we have the skills to craft research-led narratives and that will fit what stories journalists are most interested in. We’re able to marry this up across all channels too, not just focusing solely on media, to ensure any research-driven PR is leveraged across all channels.
