Above The Fold: The Big Themes At A Glance
Each PR campaign is unique; each has its own story to tell. At Wise Up PR, we want this originality reflected in every case study we share with the world. Especially in an age where AI is able to generate imagery in seconds, thoughtful, human-made and bespoke illustrations make brands stand out.
We applied this thinking to how we would represent the work we’ve done for our clients in our case study section. Stock imagery really wouldn’t do justice to the industry-leading innovations our clients are creating, nor would it best highlight the campaigns we’ve devised for them.
This is why we made the decision to commission custom-made artwork to accompany each and every one of our client case studies. Yet, who could help us?
We’re not a team of illustrators at Wise Up PR but we are a team of former journalists and from our previous experience of working in media, as well as then working with journalists, striking visuals are a key part of modern-day storytelling.
Consuming media each day meant we had been acquainted with, and also been long-time fans of the work produced by artist Dom Guzman and his editorial illustrations for Crunchbase News. We felt he had the vision and experience to conjure up media-grade visuals that would make our client case studies more impactful and memorable.
Each illustration began with a very rough brief from our team, with Dom then artfully (and patiently) transforming this kernel of an idea into a first draft sketch. We collaborated closely from this point before arriving at the final artwork. This page serves as a way to showcase the creation process fully for every one of the illustrations created.
The illustrations shared here are not part of our client campaigns; instead, our idea in commissioning this artwork is to create a more distinctive experience for those brands that want to learn more about the work and PR campaigns we’ve completed on behalf of our clients.
